These should by watched on your own time, not during school. Please be aware that some of these will include pictures and video that documented the violence, murder, and trauma committed by racists and could be very upsetting. You do not need to watch any of these to complete your research.
Additionally, there are many movies that are based on real people that are very good, such as Rustin and Judas and the Black Messiah. However, these movies were made for entertainment and should not be used for research.
Use lateral reading to check your sources for reliability. Open another tab and research your source author and website. Watch this video to learn more if lateral reading is new to you!
